Exceptional knight pipe
meerschaum decorated with a horsewoman on one side and two horses on the other. Pipe and handle made of amber with a finely carved amber ring. Signed Krammer, with silversmith's hallmarks A.A.
Note: Josef Krammer's pipes were ordered by wealthy European aristocrats. A model attributed to Krammer depicting Princess Louise with the Marquis de Lorne and the royal English family at Winsor Chapel were part of the Alfred Dunhill Antique Museum collection in London, and were sold at Piguet (Geneva) on 8/12/2020 under number 121.
