Yellow gold and diamond brooch
Brooch in yellow gold and diamonds
In yellow gold 18 Karat. Brooch consisting of two detachable parts. The upper part is round in the shape of a flower set with seventeen old-cut diamonds with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 5.2 mm and eight rose-cut diamonds of less than 2 mm.
The lower part is detachable and has an elaborate garland to which five pendants are attached, each set with one rose-cut and one old-cut diamond.
The set is very representative of the brooches that were fashionable at the end of the 19th century.
