FLORENCE, FIRST HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY
Bronze sculpture with golden-brown patina, black-lacquered wood base.

Note: Antonio and Giovanni Francesco Susini continued producing finely carved bronze Giambologna models in the early 17th century, like this one. This one is similar to a model conserved at the Victoria & Albert Museum (inv. A. 148-1910) (minus the harness) or the one sold at Briscadieu in Bordeaux (sale of 24 June 2017, lot 112)
