Copper medal, 68mm, 166g, by Borrel and Klagmann, 1846, construction of the new buildings of timbre and enregistrement, laureate head left in a medallion, legend on top, LOI DU 15 JUILLET 1845. LOUIS PHILIPPE I ROI DES FRANÇAIS., rev. two medallions with TIMBRE ROYAL, legend on top, CONSTRUCTION DES NOUVEAUX BATIMENTS DU TIMBRE ET DE L'ENREGISTREMENT, hand and CUIVRE punched on edge.
In a round wooden case with name handwritten on the lid, remains of lustre around legend, small defect to edge at 8 o'clock, extremely fine.
