Medal in silver-gilt by Devreese, 70mm, 1909, Woman reunited a young Belgian and a young Congolese under her cloak, shields of Belgium and Congo on a tree trunk to left, view of Antwerp and the Scheldt, 1885-1908 in exergue, rev. inscriptions on 7 lines, A Monsieur le Chevalier de CUVELIER, Secréte= Générl= du Départt= des Affaires Etrangères de l'Etat Indépendant DU CONGO (Vancraenbroeck cf 75 ; Willenz 82).
It is the unique specimen in silver-gilt given to Baron de Cuvelier.
