FIRST EMPIRE ERA
Striped, faceted barrel, flared muzzle, upper facet is marked "Boutet Directeur Artiste" with handle and leaflet. Lock is signed "MANUFre à VERSAILLES" with swan-neck hammer with flat body. Solid, cut iron fittings. Walnut trigger guard engraved with a flower. Wooden rod with horn and brass tip.
Barrel length: 48.6 cm.
Total length: 86.6 cm.
Good condition, cleaned, traces of pitting, signature on the lock may have been touched up, wood has been re-varnished, later rod.
