LOUIS XV-STYLE WORK
with a keyboard, made of painted carved wood. Wing and inner lid painted with gallant scenes in the manner of Antoine Watteau, sounding board decorated with a rosette and flowers. Signature bar marked 'Cousineault Père Luthier de la Royne'. Under the casing is a tag that reads Collection of Madame O'Meara.
Provenance: Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels sale, 29 March 1979, lot 703.
