Composed of several hundred views of Hankow, Wuchang, Nanjing, Nagasaki (Japan), Hong Kong, Singapore, Kobe, Colombo (Ceylon), Suez Canal. An inventory is included, and contains picturesque descriptions e.g. "candid capture of lice eaters", "mice trainers at large", etc.
Great iconographic wealth.
Provenance: Emile Evert, Belgian engineer in China 1903-1907. Member of the Peking-Hankow Railroad Administration.
