Composed of 23 postcards (battle scenes, Japanese generals) mailed from Hankow to Belgium, and bearing stamps from the Japanese offices in China, postmarked HANKOW IJPO or HANKAY DEUTSCHE POST. One card sent by registered mail (missing two stamps).
Provenance: Emile Evert, Belgian engineer in China 1903-1907. Member of the Peking-Hankow Railroad Administration.
