Composed of 20 postcards (views of Hankow and Wuchang streets, street theatre, street vendors, temples, etc.) mailed from Hankow (one from Shefoo, missing its stamp) to Belgium, bearing stamps from the French offices in China (White type), postmarked HAN-KEOU CHINA POSTE FRANCAISE. One card taxed upon arrival in WELKENRAEDT (missing the stamps).
Provenance: Emile Evert, Belgian engineer in China 1903-1907. Member of the Peking-Hankow Railroad Administration.
