Heuer chronograph bracelet watch
SWITZERLAND 1940-1950
Heuer "Big Eyes" manually-wound steel chronograph.
"Pre-Carrera" model, reference 406 from 1940-1950.
Black dial, double counter, needle hands, Arabic numerals. Nice patina on the luminescent paint of the hands and numerals.
Landeron 13 movement, manually wound, number 401119 signed "Heuer".
External casing signed "Heuer, waterproof - shock-resistant - non magnetic".
Diameter: 35 mm
Width: 18 mm
Thickness: 9.5 mm (13.5 with the domed glass)
The watch is in good aesthetic condition for its age.
The casing has micro scuffing and minor scratches. The plexiglass is slightly scratched, and the dial is slightly pitted.
The movement works, the buttons start and stop the chronograph, the chronograph hand returns to its 12 o'clock position.
