Uniform of a knight of Magistral Grace of the Order of Malta
Military uniform of a knight of Magistral Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem aka Order of Malta, made of red wool with black velvet lining, gilt buttons with the eight-pointed cross of Malta in white enamel. Black velvet shoulder straps and belt embroidered with Christ's crown of thorns in gold. Shoulder pads in gold fabric and filigree, adorned with the cross of Malta in white enamel. Black wool trousers with gold braiding and red edging.
Some wear, small termite holes.
