Herinckx, president of O.N.A.C. ; Conseil communal d'Uccle medal Herinckx Jean Conseiller 1930 ; his identity card issued in Uccle on the 20th of May 1940 and a black and white picture of him wearing his orders. varied states, tiny kinks to enamel, generally fine to very fine. (lot) Jean Herinckx (1888-1961) was a Belgian lawyer and a politician (member of the Chamber of Representatives). After being a judge in the Belgian Congo during 7 years, he became in 1921 municipal council in Uccle and then Mayor in 1939. During the German occupation, he enlisted in the Resistance and became co-president of "Front de l'Indépendance". In 1945 he was appointed Governor of Brabant by the Belgian government in exile in London.
