18 kt yellow gold set with an 8-real coin struck in Potosi around 1618 (found by Mel Fisher's n°1 diver, Frederick "Rico" Ingerson, in the Atocha galleon). The diver kept it as a good-luck charm and had it hung to wear it around his neck until 1998. He then exchanged it for a cannon. It was acquired in 2000 by Karen and Jack Antiques Portside Classics Inc. in Key Largo. Hallmark: none.
