Eglomise brooch
18 kt yellow gold, oval-shaped, eglomise depicting a seated woman hugging a dog, painted gold on a black ground (some wear to the top of the gold edge). The gold frame is slightly dented. The back is monogrammed in the hair. French work ca. 1840. Hallmark: eagle's head, manufacturer's lozenge.
