NETHERLANDS,Coin scale, a wooden box, lid nicely carved with floral and decorative patterns, with three attachment rings and hooks, 253 x 130 x 31 mm (with lid), 1650, including a scale and 41 brass coin weights of mainly European currencies of the 15th and 16th centuries. In the lid there is a sliding partition housing two round weights (one is missing). The coin denomination is written on the wood, some woodworm holes, hinges are missing at the back of the box, completed by some later weights, very fine.
