Louis XVI clock featuring a griffon Weathered gilded bronze and white marble. Featuring a griffon catching a serpent on the top, a joker at left, and a putto at right, each of the latter handling serpents. Enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, signed in Paris. Suspension spring movement, anchor escapement with recoil, strikes the hour and half-hour on a silver bell, count wheel striking mechanism. H: 55 cm-
