For this auction, Haynault made a selection of decorative arts and paintings from 1860 to 1960. The different chapters of the sale will reflect the Japanese influence on European art, with Art Nouveau, such as Daum glassware, Guimard ceramics and pieces by Victor Horta. The Art Deco will also receive a prominent spot in this auction with lacquerwork by Dunand and Linossier, glasswork by Lalique and Val Saint Lambert, and a beautiful group of paintings by Allard l’Olivier, and works by animaliers in the like of Guyot, Jouve and Sandoz. Ceramics by Charles Catteau and Lalanne will also be presented along sculptures by Matton, Lambeaux, Jespers and Demanet. The sale will end with a few modern paintings from e.g. Turkish artists.
