On the reverse, labels from the 1934 Salon des Artistes Français, the Salon de l’Union des Femmes Peintres et Sculpteurs, and the 1936 Salon des Femmes Peintres.
Note: Nicknamed the ‘Fairy of Flowers’ by the art critic Sander Pierron, Angelina Drumaux was famous during her lifetime for her floral compositions. The Ducal Museum of Bouillon, the Museum of Fine Arts in Liège (La Boverie), the Arlon Museum and the Musée du Luxembourg (Paris) all hold works by the artist. The Centre Pompidou (Paris) holds a painting entitled *Les Serres de Laeken*, also dating from 1933.
