Large oval platter
950 °/°° chiseled silver, surrounded by an openwork gallery, with an acanthus frieze edge, resting on 4 clawed lion feet. Two twisted handles. Lightly scratched and a few slight dents. Hallmarks: old man's head 1 for Paris, 1819-1838, MO: VAG under a hammer. And M and Netherlands inspection hallmarks, 1871, Dokkum.
