Golden, silver, red and black lacquer on brass, gyobu-nashiji, roiro-nuri, shu-nuri, base made of distressed steel, gilded brass, red-lacquered copper, and ivory. Signed, dated 86, and accompanied by two seals painted on the back of the vase. Designed and made by Jean Lemmens, unique piece.
