Pair of white and blue lotus bowls with Chenghua mark - China, 17th century or earlier
White porcelain, lotus-shaped, each decorated with sixteen scenes of children's games and ruyi. The two bowls' decors are diachronically connected, scene by scene. Chenghua mark (1465-1487) under the base. These bowls were probably created during the Kangxi era.
Slight Y-shaped crack under the base of one of the two bowls.
