Woman's coat, known as a Dzube

Slim-fitting, with sleeveless basques, black felt embroidered with gold flowers, gold braid, printed cotton lining.
Formerly attributed to Macedonia, these coats have been classified by the British Museum as being made in Kosovo.

Provenance: former collection of J. Naus, customs inspector in Iran in the early 20th CENTURY.
