Oriental sword and matching scabbard
with iron cross-bar inlaid with gold flowers, damascus blade signed in gold kofgari.
Wooden scabbard sheathed in leather with iron decoration inlaid with gold flowers.
Provenance: former collection of J. Naus, customs inspector in Iran in the early 20th CENTURY.
Missing plates and pommel. The sword does not fit fully into the scabbard.
