CHINA - QIANLONG PERIOD (1736 - 1795)
Box in the shape of a plum blossom
in red lacquer carved with two scholars on a terrace in front of a mountainous landscape, one holding tablets, the other playing the flute, accompanied by a servant holding a jug. The medallion is surrounded by bats among longevity peaches and peony branches. The rim carved with swirling waves.
