British standard-bearer at the battle of Waterloo
Bronze sculpture with nuanced green patina. Signed "Adrian Jones".
A favourite subject of Jones, who exhibited in 1889 at the Royal Academy of London. The sculptor is particularly well-known for his work "Peace descending on the Quadriga of War", on top of Wellington Arch in Hyde Park Corner, London.
