Croix de fer (2), 38mm, 27mm, in gold, hallmarked between the arms of the cross; Ordre de Léopold, Officer's Cross unilingual, military title (missing the centre on the reverse and losses to enamel); Croix commémorative du 25e anniversaire du règne de Léopold Ie, in gold 34mm (knocks and losses to enamel) in a leather case mentioning the name of Professor Yseux; Croix de 2e classe décoration civique loyauté dans l'administration; Médaille commémorative des postes; Médaille commémorative de Léopold II; Médaille de la résistance MNB 1940; Miniature croix de guerre; 5 attendance tokens of the city of Brussels mentioning the name E. Yseux (2 brooch-mounted), with 5 Kopeck, 1784 EM; a medal of the Unione Italiana Anversa, Societa di mutuo soccorso 1886-1913.
Note: Emile Yseux, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at the Université Libre de Bruxelles from 1885 to 1887 and again from 1898 to 1900, was Professor of Zoology and Natural Sciences and a supporter of Darwin's theory. He was also a Brussels city councillor.
