Portable folding sundial in gilt brass, the octagonal plate chased with foliage, graduated disc for adjusting the dial and the hour ring. Compass engraved with a wind rose decoration. Hinged graduated equatorial ring with a pivoting needle forming a gnomon. The latitude arc engraved from 10 to 80 is hinged. Hinged lead support, cut out and engraved with a foliate decoration. The back of the dial engraved: Eleva Poli. Lisbon 39 Roma 42 Vened 45 Wien Augspurg Münch 48 Regensp 49 and signed "And Vog"" for Andreas VOGLER (Ca. 1730 - 1800)
