Lithograph signed and dated 'Tomie Ohtake 72' at bottom right and inscribed 'P. Do Impressor' at bottom left. A Japanese naturalized Brazilian plastic artist, Tomie Ohtake began creating her first paintings at 40 years old. She evolved from the landscapes, still lifes and portraits of representational art, to the abstract work for which she is known: geometric figures that marry form and colour with intensity.
