Oil on canvas signed and dated 'V. de Sartorius.1854' at bottom right. Virginie de Sartorius was a botanical artist. A student of Madame Van Marcke, she exhibited her work at the fairs of Liège (1866), Louvain, Namur, Spa (1874).
In a moulded giltwood frame.
